As many as 108 New York City teens participate in October and February weekend camps with other youth outreach groups from other cities in the East. The teens participate in small groups and seminars which are geared toward sharing around issues related to family interaction and struggles, peer interaction and influence and individual areas of difficulty and dealing with these life issues from a Biblical perspective. There is also time for outdoor and indoor games and individual mentoring with New Life staff.

“The weekend camp was great. It was a great learning experience for me. The

  different seminars on relationships and anger management gave me a different

  perspective on issues that we teenagers face. It was also great to get out of the

  city and go where my responsibilities back at home didn’t follow me. It was so
