New Life Studios empowers young people to understand how media impacts their world, and how they can impact their world through media. In addition to studying the tools of shooting and learning viable job skills, students also learn the language of film. They learn how messages are conveyed through pictures, sounds, words and tones, and how they are used to communicate messages that effect culture, buying habits, politics and society. For at-risk youth, this greatly aids in giving them the confidence they need to succeed in school and life. Helping them to understand and interact with their world in positive and acceptable ways are the goals of this program
